GEMA was established in 1994 as an agency for consulting and translations. The name GEMA if you wonder has no particular meaning besides that GE stands for Germany and MA stands for Macedonia. The founder of the company Tamara (Todoroski) Atanasovski was born and raised in Germany from mixed marriage so that she became bilingual from the early childhood and later on she learnt English as well. From 2004-2006 she made several trips to UK to improve her English and visit her husband who was working in UK at that time. Finding it hard to manage the business and keep her customers remotely from UK she came back in Ohrid with the husband taking over the business and adding the travel and tourism services as well. In 2007 we received a license for Travel Agent and in 2008 we have added a Rent-A-Car service with brand new fleet (Chevrolet) to the existing business. If you think that you can’t mix business with pleasure we can only advise you to follow our example. We live and work at the place we really like and the fact that we have many happy customers makes us happier every single day.
